Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RoThero, an AI-powered Luau code generator for Roblox Studio, offered as a web app and a Roblox Studio plugin (the "Service"), operated from Italy.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who Can Use RoThero
You must be at least 13 years old (14 if you are located in Italy) to use RoThero. If you are under 16, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service, as required by GDPR.
You access the Service by signing in with your Roblox account (OAuth). You're responsible for keeping your Roblox account secure.
2. The Service
RoThero generates Luau code for Roblox Studio based on prompts you provide. Generated code is provided "as is", you're responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any code before using it in your own projects. We don't guarantee the generated code will be free of bugs, security issues, or compatible with every use case.
3. Plans and Pricing
We offer the following plans:

Your monthly credit allowance refreshes every month on both monthly and yearly plans, a yearly subscription delivers its per-month credits each month of the subscription year. Free plan prompts reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active. Prices are shown in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
Bonus Credits (Earn Free Prompts)
You can earn bonus credits by completing one-time actions from your dashboard: joining our Discord server with a linked Discord account, verifying an email address, or submitting a review (see Section 7). Each action can earn one credit, once per account.
Bonus credits behave like top-up credits, they do not expire while your account is active, but they have no cash value, are non-refundable, and are excluded from any refund calculation under Section 5.
We may revoke bonus credits obtained through misrepresentation or manipulation (for example, fabricated reviews, disposable-email schemes, or repeatedly unlinking and relinking accounts), and we may modify or discontinue the bonus program at any time for future claims. Changes to the program will not remove credits you have already legitimately earned.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period (see Section 5). You retain full access to your current plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
You may also downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time via the billing portal. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, you keep your current plan's features and credits until then, and the new lower-tier plan begins at the next renewal.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a full refund, every cent back, within 14 days of your first subscription purchase, regardless of how many credits you've used.
How it works:
- Refunds are only available within 14 days of your subscription start date.
- You may only receive one refund per account, once a refund has been issued, you're not eligible for another.
- Refunds are not available for the Free plan (no payment made) or for Credit Top-Ups, which are non-refundable.
- Requesting a refund immediately revokes your paid access, and your account is downgraded to the Free plan. This happens as soon as the refund is requested and confirmed, it is not reversible.
- The refund amount is the full price you paid for your current plan period, shown to you before you confirm.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate malicious code, cheats/exploits intended to harm other Roblox players or violate Roblox's Terms of Service, or any unlawful content
- Attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or circumvent credit limits or security measures
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our permission
- Use the Service in a way that violates Roblox's own Terms of Service or Community Standards
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. User-Submitted Reviews
You may optionally submit a review of the Service through the dashboard. By submitting a review and checking the public display consent box, you:
- Confirm the review is genuine and reflects your honest experience.
- Grant RoThero a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display your review text, Roblox username, and Roblox avatar image on our website and marketing materials.
- Confirm the content does not violate any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to moderate or decline to display any review. You may request removal at any time by contacting support@rothero.com.
8. Intellectual Property
Code you generate using your own prompts is yours to use in your Roblox projects. We retain all rights to the RoThero Service itself (the app, plugin, branding, and underlying technology).
9. Third-Party Services
RoThero relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (database), OpenRouter (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Resend (transactional email), Upstash (rate limiting), and Discord (internal operational notifications and optional account linking for plan-based server roles). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is shared with these providers.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated code will meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoThero is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including issues caused by generated code used in your own projects.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; billing records may be retained as required by law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via the web app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under EU law.
